I am up early thanks to a call from Canada saying my Mother has made it through surgery and thrilled to be pain free! Thank you for your prayers and sweet words! And now I am much too happy and relieved to go back to bed. Because I was with out power (and husband, but that's another story) yesterday I will quickly add some photo's of a tunic dress I sewed this weekend, in which I learnt a very valuable lesson...don't try a new dress pattern if planning on giving the dress away as a gift! This dress did not turn out anything close to what it was suppose to look like! I think it looks more like a P.J but Marion in her six year old way reassured me that she was sure the recipient "would not trash it"!
