My Baby is a big girl! Can someone please stop the world from turning...even just for a moment!? I am not ready for this! We bought her two potties(one for up stairs and one for down) at the market on Saturday. Since then she has been well on her way. Today she has been dry all day! Should I cry or rejoice? Maybe both!

Back in Nigeria

Well we are home now. Back in wild Nigeria. We took a drive to the market to see if we could find a few things we needed. The rains have begun so most things are flooded. The pot holes have turned into treacherous bodies of water! Here are a few pictures of the drive to the market. Most pictures are from the car as Nigerians are camera hostile.

Good-Bye...
Tuesday, July 14, 2009
We want to say good-bye to our dear people of Canada. It has been a wonderful two months. I have our memories tucked into my heart, to pull out when ever I get lonely for you. Canada the country was as majestic as I remember, her beauty is a gift to me and the world! I want to say good-bye to those of you we were unable to see, we missed you and we love you! We want to say thank-you to those who helped to make our stay so easy and stress free, we want to say thank-you for all those you showered us with love and friendship...you are the best!
My tears flowed as I left for the skies. A part of my heart remained with you... in Canada, my true home.
Davina sleeping in the lounge during our delay in Germany. We pulled two chairs together...there she conked out!

We are home now in Africa. We have been busy moving and unpacking our new home. This move was the least distance so far...no new country, no new culture, no new language! Just around the corner from our old flat. We have a home now, it's larger and brighter and seems to feel more like a home.
Thank you again! We love you all!
Radium

A little town in the Canadian Rocky Mountains is where we spent a glorious week. Soaking up the sun, feasting our eyes on majestic views, enjoying decadent foods and most of all being with family. When we bought the condo we had a dream that it would be a place that would gather family and friends from far distances… a place too relax and holiday together. It was nice to experience that dream even if it was just for a week.
Like anything good in life it never seems long enough…a month together would have been much better!
Thank you family for coming to us…we loved spending time with each of you and making wonderful life long memories!
Our condo, top floor third one in.

The club house and pool, Oh...the views!

The bunch of us.

We had a ton of fun with these two. Roger's little sister Meg and her hunny Andrew.

Nights were spent eating Lindt chocolate and the memory of Grandma using our laptop!

Radium, home to big horn sheep.

As you can see we had a glourious time in the mountains. Laughing and enjoying the friendship of family. We all cried when we said our good-byes. I know the memories and the time we had together will carry us through this year apart...it was just that wonderful of a time!!

The End
*P.S.* Because we are not in the country to use the condo year around. We are renting it out for a great price. It has three bedrooms, two baths, full kitchen, and spectacular views. It takes nine hours to drive from Vancouver and three hours from Calgary. If you are interested please email for more information.
