Despite what my sister thinks my opinions of her move to the caribou might be, I enjoyed my time imenslly! I loved seeing her in her new life, flourishing! She took me around pointing out the charm. I was won over at the U-Pick flower farm (Edge Wood Farms). Though I might joke about the 'caribou women' I am truly proud of my little sister and can see the beautiful life they are creating for their family. If only more people were as brave as them to forge ahead with their dreams.

Risky

This bear caused a great amount of excitement during our Quensal stay. He was lurking on the line of danger. Killed a few of Joshua's well cared for chickens and was hanging around the yard. After seeing him standing on the hill thirty feet from where Marion was playing we decided to call the police. They arrived in moments along with Joshua...testosterone levels were been feed by the thrill of a hunt...though each man were desperately trying to mask their looks of excitement! The police were terribly disappointed to have missed the chance to capture the pesky bear (they would never admit to that). Latter the bear was caught and shot by a conservation officer. Sad for this bear to end that way, but good that he was caught before he caused a devastation.

Multitasking
Monday, August 9, 2010

Multitasking is the only possible way everything gets done around here. I am sure all you dear mother's know the feeling of having multiple things going on at any given time! I intended to go to my parents last week those plans got set back because of an out break of chicken poxes. It seems as the patients are recovering, but I would like to give them a few more days...
Instead I am going to my sisters new place for a few days and then hopefully on to my parents. I will be driving the nine hours up and over the glorious rocky mountains and into the caribou, on my own with three babes in tow! I will write again when I arrive at Q-Full Ranch. Hopefully in one piece and relatively sane!
