    Some have wondered if we added another child to the mix of Milners.
    I certainly wish this boy was ours for ever and always
    But…
    He is my littlest Brother and after a month of enjoying him in our home,
    We have reluctantly returned him to his parents,
    Though we are begging his return!
    He is so wonderfully alive and energetic, caring and cuddly.
    I love that Caleb boy, and miss him very much!

    ~

    Two years ago a treasure was placed in my arms, filling my heart.

    Two years I have watched the world dance excitedly through the bold brown of his eyes.

    Two years I have held the hand of energy, adventure, humour and determination.

    He is my little man in the making and has me fully captivated and committed, heart and soul!

    I think daily of the person he is shaping to be. Daily I I pray for the man he is to become.

    ~

    A leader whose heart is humbled before God

    Compassionate to others.

    Hardworking.

    Knows the affairs of his country and votes confidently!

    Laughs heartily, cry deeply, loves fully.

    Respects his Mama, listens to his Dad, protects his sisters and guides his brother.

    Captures but one ladies heart and gives his fully to her in return.

    Loves and cares for her all the days of their life.

    Raises a whole broad of grandbabies… to be a chip of the old block!

    My deepest prayer for my dearest Lachlan!

    The week awoke in celebration


    Spring was humming sweetness

    Masterpieces and blossoms the blessings of the day

    A nap tucked beside my babe in a room awash with filtering afternoon warmth

    Spoke layers of love into my Mothering Heart

    A Dance of beauty started the jig of this week

    Reminding me that Mothering is all motion in the moments swinging wide with challenges and cherishes

    I am currently caught right in the miracle of it all.

    Them Grandparents gave some grand gifts

    To many to count but three that stand out

    They cared for three of our littles while we were out on a one week long date.

    They established a joyous evening routine (one we have happily kept going) which plays out something like this…

    Dinner then 'out door running out of steam' time fallowed with

     Popcorn + Tea + Singing+ Bible + Prayer + Kisses + Lights out = Happy Parents ~Happy Bebes!

    And Then…

    They made and gave a triple seater for our swinging area

    I am one triply grateful mama!

    I waved love to three of my heart, left laundry and dishes and tiredness and slip away with my first love for one whole week.

    I am an honoured woman to be escorted by two such fine looking men.

    Such a spectacular break from my busy norm is allowing for sweet simple pleasures such as…

    Warmth

    Uninterrupted conversations

    Staying asleep to unspeakable times of day

    Visiting with my global friends

    Dotting on my fourth like a first time mama

    Shopping shhhh… don’t tell my mama or my hunna!

    As you can see I am taking this holidaying thing very seriously and now I must get back to my currant reality of doing nothing…
