We finally got our car and braved driving on the left side of the road! We drove up into the mountains with the coast as our destination. We found out very quickly that one road can have many different names and the map only offers you a false sense of confidence..... Roger did an amazing job navigating through the unknown and I loved the unexpected things to see when your off the beaten path. Malaysia is beautiful and I love it the more I see. We did make it to the coast and enjoyed some ocean and sun. Malaysians love Davina with her bright blue eyes and rosy checks, we get stopped every where so people can touch her and take photos of her! ( the lady on the beach would not stop rubbing her skin. ) I am loving the markets and road side local craft shops. Roger laughs as I take home yet another basket... I will gather a local basket for every place I live in! Roger just laughs at me again.

Chinatown
Chinatown is something else! Madness pure madness, but I loved it! Hundreds of vendors come and sell their goods. Roger and I thought to truly experence Asia we would have to attempt to shop like a local. It was fun and scarry and lets just say Roger is to soft on the bargining for me to send him out for our weekly groceries! If you all recieve Gucci or Louis Viton purses and belts for Christmas it's because we are so generous NO... It's because you can find them a dime a dozen here, they might just fall apart on you.

Davina still looks pretty cute after being awake all 12 hours of our flight from London to KL.
Here is a picture of the beautiful park in front of our hotel, across the park (in the center of the pic with the flags) is Menara ExxonMobil. The picture of the twin towers is from my office, our hotel (not in the pic) is just to the left of the towers. -Roger
London!

London is amazing. Every thing about it has been exciting. There is so much energy about this place. We are staying in the Hilton downtown London a five minute walk from Buckingham Palace! I feel as though I have been caught up in History. I love how everything has character, sure beats the stucco and vinyl of Calgary. Today we went to the tower of London, Wow, to think I was in the very castle that Wiliam the Conqueror built! Tomorow we go walk though Westminster Abby. I have looked forward to experiancing Westminster Abby since home school history. I am not sure what made me feel more "IN LONDON" the old buildings or letting my family eat fish and chips at a pub?
