~ The Autumn ~

~ The dearest hands that clasp our hands, Their presence may be o'er; ~

~ The dearest voice that meets our ear, That tone may come no more! ~

~ Youth fades; and then, the joys of youth, Which once refresh'd our mind, ~

~ Shall come - as, on those sighing woods, The chilling autumn wind. ~

Back To School

~ Indicative of the title of this post… I am consumed with my learners and the time it takes to teach ~

~ Weeks ago before school bell ` heralds rang, we celebrated the year ahead ~

~ Took time too inaugurate the first year students ~

~ Refocus the returners ~

~ Christen the year with positive blessings ~

~ Wrap our love and dedication around all these beautiful souls ~

{Oh my, September has been a flash! I am a teacher! A host to my family who are renovating my barn area! Sipping lots of pregnancy tea and watching this belly of mine grow! Sighing eagerly for my husband’s return back to this side of the ocean and gather his hormonal wife in his arms! But all together gratefully praising the Lord for his splendour draped in autumn’s radiance.}

Ode to Summer ~ Part Two

~
I am so often humbled by the beauty that lies around me filling my life with awe and wonder. Such delight is found in the mountains that lie at my doorstep. Over the summer we have walked and hiked and tasted the radiant nature of this vast mountain country.

~ We find our home and heart settled peacefully and abundantly~thankful in this Country ~

Ode to Summer

The temperature is slipping and shadows are stretching longer – earlier.
Deep rich colours are fading out the greens. Nature is coming with her season changes.
I still have moments of summer saved on my camera, ready to share with you as Autumn heralds her coming beauty.

~ Yellow of summer the medicine of nature ~

~ Memories of scattered flower patches blanketing my forest floor ~

~ Made into cream to rub them bruises and aches away ~
